CLIMATE IMPACT

REAL TREES. REAL ROOTS.

Construction offset
Each villa will have its construction impact fully neutralized by local tree planting.

Daily Impact
We plant 10 trees every day the villa operates beyond offset.

Local Growth
All trees planted locally in Tanzania by communities.

Redefining Luxury.
One Tree at a Time.

Before you even receive the keys, we've already measured the construction impact and planted enough native trees to fully offset the carbon footprint of building your villa.

From there, every occupied night plants 10 additional trees - that’s 3,650 trees per year, all grown and planted by local communities in Tanzania.

In other words: Every guest becomes climate positive simply by staying here. And every villa becomes a regenerative climate engine.

This isn’t just guilt-free travel. This is regenerative living.

While newly planted trees absorb little CO₂ the first years, their impact increases with time, and because we plant daily, your climate legacy compounds every year.

Within 30 years, your villa will have helped plant over 100,000 trees, (at 100% occupancy) absorbing around 10,950 tons of CO₂ - enough to offset the entire 30-year carbon footprint of more than 34 average Europeans.

Every Stay Plants Trees, Supports
Communities, and Offsets Carbon

Live Carbon Positive

We plant trees for carbon compensation for every occupied day at Zanzibar Heritage Villas, making living here a carbon positive act in itself.

Empowering Communities Through Reforestation

Trees are planted and nurtured by local communities, improving their eco system and giving them a sustainable income.

Track and Visit Your Trees

Your planted trees can be tracked online and physically visited.
